The server will be going offline Friday night and won’t be back till Sunday (and even then it’ll take a while for the dns to propagate) so it will be about 4-5 days before it’ll be fully back up for everyone. At which time I’ll be permanently in San Jose with all the equipment.

Well just got confirmation that I’m going to be moving into a nice little 1 bedroom place in the San Jose area on the 30th. I’m really happy to now have a place to call home and can relax for a little bit of time before I need to really finish up the packing and prepare for some of the moving related stuff. Phone calls to make and all that.

Well, its been long overdue and as you can probably guess slightly crazy for me lately so I’ve managed to not write anything for a few weeks.

A lot has been going on lately and its been quite interesting. The new chinchilla babies are getting big and starting to get weened by mom, they enjoy hay and the little pellets. Pictures can be seen here.

I’m moving to San Jose at the end of this month for a new position I’ve accepted with Global Netoptex, working with Cshields and Solar. So I’ll soon be part of the bay area conspiracy and hanging out with those crazy kids.

So that’s the quick update..I need to get back to looking for places (have had some good or bad luck) that allow pets, as there is just no way I could be without little misha. Not to mention there’s that entire issue of packing all my stuff for the trip and picking up needed things for the new place… So if i’m distracted you know why..lots of planning to do.
