Is now in the tree for those who’ve synced. It has a few new fun features, such as a transparent cube, Layered windows when you are in cube mode, and just general speed improvements. So grab it and try it out. If you are already using it. You’ll notice that emerald-themes moved to x11-themes in this release, which is a much happier place for it to be.

As well, its now the only version in the tree now so you don’t have much in the way of choice but to upgrade. Also, thanks to a user pointing out, ppc users can use beryl now. If you’ve tested it out on another platform, I’d love to hear about it so that I can add more keywords for ~arch so you don’t have to do that yourself.

I still find it odd to find many people actually using something I maintain. Its a bit of a trip from what I was doing before that I knew people were upgrading to things I marked but eh. I need to get back to that as well. Slow and steady.

I’m also a slacker yet again for Christmas shopping. I hate doing it at the last minute but for the last 2 years, things have occurred to cause me to basically run out of time. I just really need to get my act together. Course it helps when you know what to get people, which I don’t for two people. Its just annoying.
