Well my trip has sucked for many reasons but basically everything that could go wrong has. I’m flying home tomorrow so that’s at least a good thing. However when I get back there’s about 4 or 5 things for IT alone that I need to handle on top of my normal support issues. Then there will be the fallout and aftereffects of the install here which did not go well at all and I’m heading home because I need to go home. Not to mention that my being here won’t help anything as everything can be done remotely.

If it turns out we didn’t have enough hardware for it as well..then its even a better thing that I’m going home now, as I’d just have someone pissed off at me, blaming me directly and them having to pay a fine etc. I’ll just be glad to be home after this one. I won’t want to go to another for quite a while, as this is the second that things have changed after I arrived on site. A long flight is looking really good at this point.
