In the second major event of tonight, one that for many will top gcc and the new 2006.1 release of gentoo. There’s word that Daniel Robbin’s the father of Gentoo is coming back to become a developer for the project. Thats right, and yes you heard it here first, second, or for the last time. He is in fact coming back to be a developer. Proof is in the bug. (Edit: its back and public so you can actually go look now again.)

Lets all welcome him back and be glad he couldn’t stay away long. And here he thought it might stay silent. Silly guy.
