Evil awful imap has been conquored MUHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH. For those of you who don’t know IMAP is the Internet Message Access Protocol. IE its a nice multi platform, universally understood by most major email clients. That includes outlook, thunderbird, evolution. What have you. What does this mean for most of you. Edit: I can’t reply just this second. I need to work on that aspect still but Its a good ammount of progress as far as I’m concerned.

Seems as if I am always going through cycles. Currently the one I’m going through is a bit of a bugger. I need to get back to working on eper but just haven’t felt like it. I just need a swift kick in the butt to get going. Course, its only my own that will get me moving again. Its time to do a maintainablity cleanup version of it so that I can work on it a bit easier. Thanks to compnerd I understand a good bit more about the how and why of doing that process.

I have also started to act as a mirror for gentopia found here. If you don’t know what gentopia is, its aim is to make the user experience under linux with devices pratically painless. Check it out, and either grab the builds from the official source or the mirror i have here + a few random ebuilds I toss in.

Actually there is today. Partly because its three am and I’m not tired. Course that works out to my advantage in ways. I have to work today from 11 pm to 7 am. Just my luck! Gotta love work schedules like that.

As far as other things, today also happens to be bugday for gentoo. Seems as if some bugs are already getting fixed or postdated to be looked at later. Seem to be off to a good start. Funny thing, I’m not a developer but I’m glad to see it happening and going well so far. In a similar note. I’ve made some progress with eper again. I’m getting closer and closer to having something releaselike! Imagine that, after all this time rewritting it, it might see the light of day eventially. Course, knowing my luck everyone will hate it.

Its kinda funny, I found out that the girl i’d been searching for at Bully’s had been on vacation and is going to be back sunday. So you can guess where I’ll be sunday, no matter how tired I might be after working saturday night. Thinking about the possiblity of having a date, when I haven’t really been out on one in ohh eight months. If you consider the somewhat hang out funky situation with Debbie.

I’m not really nervous though..I will be sunday of course. It has though brough up a form of reverie, that I know a few friends would instantly knock me out of if they knew I was in it. That nice painful tightening of the chest, remembing that one person who hopefully still has a stuffed tiger that roars when you squeeze him.

One of these days I’ll probably write something worth reading, or post some of my other various writings that’ll bring into question, my sanity.

I’m still working on eper, getting there with pure wholesome python, many thanks go out to kloeri for his help in confirming that I’m going to right direction and just for putting up with my questions. I’ll be sure you get to see it when its time to release (hopefully bug free!). I’m also feeling more confident about python as a whole, and the thinking process about gentoo. Those who i’ve talked to know what I mean in this reguards, course there’s only be a few I’d want to be under because I know that they’d make excelent guides
